I was really hoping to customize my dash setup exactly how I wanted, but the options ended up feeling limited and a bit confusing to figure out. I kind of regret assuming there would be more flexibility, because I eventually just settled for something that was okay instead of what I actually had in mind.

I was in a relaxed mood, just casually looking up a radio kit for my old Chevy, and the product page had most of the stuff I needed right there. The fitment info, photos, and what came in the box were all easy enough to find.

I did have to click around a little for a couple of smaller details, so it wasn’t totally perfect. Still, it gave me enough confidence to know what I was buying before I placed the order.

I liked the vintage style at first, but once I had it in hand it felt kind of cheap. I also ended up feeling passed around when trying to get info about it, which made the whole experience more frustrating than it needed to be.

I really wanted to like this brand, but the whole experience left me uneasy. The info on the website didn’t line up with what I actually received, and when I reached out for help, it took longer than it should have. I get that mistakes happen, but it feels basic to be upfront with customers and respond in a reasonable amount of time. It wasn’t a total disaster, but I don’t feel confident buying from them again.

I wasn’t totally sure which radio would actually fit my old Chevy, so I checked their compatibility info before placing the order. It was easy to follow and saved me from guessing on brackets and wiring 🙂

I bought this from retromanufacturing.com a few months back and, yeah, it’s still working great. I use it regularly, so I’ve had enough time to notice if anything was going to feel off, but honestly... no issues so far. Nothing loose, nothing weird, nothing that makes it feel cheap. I was a little unsure about ordering it online at first, but it’s been totally solid. Reliable overall, and I’d definitely order from them again

I put this on a while back, but from what I remember the fitment was close. It lined up right and I didn’t have much trouble getting it in place.

I ordered a radio kit from Retromanufacturing and was actually pleased when it showed up. The box was in good shape, not crushed or looking like it got tossed down a driveway, and everything inside had a solid amount of padding. I know it’s just packaging, but after getting some weirdly mangled deliveries lately, I notice this stuff now.

The small parts were bagged separately too, which made it way easier to sort through everything instead of digging around like I was looking for a missing screw under the couch. Nothing was scratched, loose, or rattling around. Simple thing overall, but good packaging really does make the whole order feel a lot less stressful

It looks really nice in the car, and I was excited to use it since I usually listen to music and podcasts on my drive to work. But the Bluetooth keeps disconnecting from my phone, and having to re-pair it pretty much every time I get in the car gets annoying fast...

At first I was happy with the site because I found the parts I needed really fast. Like, surprisingly fast. Then I got to checkout and suddenly I was a little annoyed because it felt clunky and not as smooth as the rest of the experience.

These sound totally fine for everyday listening. I’m 100% sure most people would be okay with them. But the bass is absolutely not as strong as it should be sometimes, and I noticed it right away. Not bad at all, just definitely not amazing.

I wasn’t expecting much with my old stereo, but the Bluetooth works great. Ain’t no complaints from me so far.

The prices seemed fair overall. Definitely not the cheapest I’ve seen, but I didn’t feel like I was getting ripped off or anything, so...

I got the radio installed and it looks nice in the car, so no complaints there. The reception though is kind of all over the place. Some stations come in really clear, then suddenly another one has static even when I’m just driving around town, which is a little annoying. Maybe it’s the area, maybe the antenna, not sure. It’s not a bad radio or anything, and it works fine most of the time, but for the price I guess I was expecting it to be a bit better. Overall it’s okay, just not something I’d call amazing.

I bought a radio from Retrosound and felt like the price was fair for what I got. The shipping wasn’t lightning fast or anything, but it wasn’t a problem either. The radio works well, looks good in my car, and everything was handled decently. At the end of the day, if a company gives you a fair product for a fair price, that counts for a lot. I’d buy from them again

The parts seem decent overall, and the upgrade did work in the end. Install was just kind of a pain and took some fiddling to get everything lined up right, but once it was in, it was fine

Installation was smooth overall. I mostly just went with the obvious stuff, like matching up the wires and following the quick steps, but I did stop once to double-check everything before tightening it up. No real issues after that

Of course my order ended up being the one with a problem, which was frustrating. I reached out to support expecting it to be a whole ordeal, but they actually got it sorted quickly. Still annoying that I had to deal with it in the first place, but at least they fixed it without making me chase them forever
